Made as a submission (not accepted) for NASA's CineSpaces competition:
"CineSpace is a collaboration between NASA and Houston Cinema Arts Society (HCAS) that offers filmmakers around the world a chance to share their works inspired by, and using, actual NASA imagery through “CineSpace,” a short film competition."
Artist Statement:
We are constantly bombarded with images and information, both positive and negative, concerning the state of humanity and welfare of our world. From this bombardment we can shape either a narrative of hope or despair. How are we to react? Both the artist and the scientist observe and report. Both hope to influence the world for the better. Now more than ever, we must advance the narrative of knowledge and understanding over destruction and violence. Like the people on the International Space Station, we can and must come together to advance humankind.
